I first saw the Necessaire products when my daughter started using them. After talking to her about the products, checking out the ingredients and the benefits noted on their website. It peaked my interest so now I wanted to try them, but the price point was a little steep for my pockets. So for the holidays Necessaire was promoting a 5pc gift set so I hinted to my daughter about it. She surprised me during the holidays and gifted me with the set.
I don't typically purchase pricey products because what works for one person may not work for me and I refuse to stock pile a bunch of products that don't work. So I set a spending limit when I make product purchases. If you are familiar with the Necessaire products you know the cost. So I was excited when my daughter gifted me this set.
The Hits and Misses
When I first tried this product I was impressed. Not only does this Body Wash cleanse and nourish the body, it's loaded with vitamins and is PH balanced for your skin. I use it in the shower with my loofah towel and it left my skin soft and moisturized. A little of this gel goes a long way. I also love the light Eucalyptus scent.
I use the Body Exfoliator 3 - 4 times a week, love this stuff. It's perfect for my extremely dry, aging and flaky skin that needs to be exfoliated regularly to correct my uneven tones and textures. It left my skin smooth and soft ready for my lotions and oils to absorb easily.
An added bonus of this product is that it foams when you massage it into your skin. The exfoliating beads are delicate and not too rough for my skin. The Necessaire Body Exfoliator contains acids that works to lift off the dead skin.
After using the Body Wash and the Body Exfoliator, my skin was prepped to receive the Necessaire Body Serum . I never heard of serums for your body so this was new to me. The Body Serum has Hyaluronic Acid which give the skin a load of hydration and it absorb quickly into my skin leaving it soft and hydrated.
I am always on the look out for a great body lotion that can do the job of moisturizing my skin and keeping it hydrated all day. I had high hopes for the Necessaire Body Lotion but this lotion did not work for me. I like my lotion thick, rich, creamy with lots of oils. This type of lotion works better on my skin. The Body Lotion would do great on skin that doesn't require extreme moisture and is not dry and flaky.
The Necessaire Body Oil did not work for me either, it's formulated with light weight oils that absorbs into the skin quickly. It left my skin feeling naked, I prefer thick oils that I can feel on my skin after it's massaged in. I think it would be a great oil for people that don't require heavy oils to keep there skin hydrated and moisturized. This Body Oil is loaded with lots of vitamins and fatty acids. I will definitely continue to use both the Body Lotion and the Body Oil as hand lotion since my hands are not as dry as my body. The products that I would repurchase would be The Body Wash, The Exfoliator and The Body Serum. The others didn't work for me.
The Necessaire Body products are worth a try if your budget will allow.
